By moving to the city you would probably be able to downsize to an apartment and have some money left over.

Perhaps it’s that time of your life when the kids have gone and it’s time to downsize. With fewer people to cater for, you have free reign over where and what you buy. You could choose something quirky in the country or something different that suits your every need. Maybe your dream has been to build a house that is uniquely you or buy a do-up and put your personal stamp on it. Either way the time to do it is now. You’ve got the time, you’ve got the money and you’ve had years to decide what kind of home and lifestyle you really want.

There’s that saying which goes a bit like, 'do whatever makes you happy'. Moving home is another way to push you into doing what you love. Whatever makes your heart tick is probably the thing you should follow. So again, moving house could be the answer to your problems.
